We love hosting celebrations! From magical children's birthday parties to grown-up get-togethers, we're here to help you celebrate any occasion.
Pottery painting parties
Pottery painting parties are a great choice for a unique birthday party idea. Fun and entertaining for children, chilled and therapeutic for adults - Sophie's Ceramics Pottery Painting Cafe is a great space for meeting up with friends for chatter, laughter, and memory-making!

It doesn't matter what kind of celebration you're having, we'll give you a call within 10 days to let you know when your magnificent creations are ready for collection, and for anyone who lives further afield don't panic - we offer postage for £3.95 per item within the UK.

From snacks and drinks to give the party-goers' creativity a boost, to the all-important party bag - we love a birthday party at Sophie's Ceramics and it's our mission to make sure each one is fun, memorable, and stress-free for the adults!

In other words, we take care of absolutely everything!

​6 Children - £192
£32 per child for any additional children, up to 14 children.
There's a non-refundable 50% deposit upon booking, and we'll pop you across a payment link for that, the rest of the balance is due on the day.

To book, give us a call or email the team on theteam@sophiesceramics.co.uk. We will need to know the name & age of the birthday kid, which attendee amount you need and any dietary requirements you are aware of.​
Grown Up Celebrations
Not just for the kids...
From birthdays and baby showers to anniversaries and graduation celebrations: we're here to help you celebrate, whatever the occasion!
We charge a non-refundable deposit of £3 per person upon booking, which we'll send you a payment link for. The rest of the balance is payable on the day, and this depends entirely on which pottery guests choose to paint, and what snacks and drinks they have - as usually each person is paying for themselves.
That said, if one person is looking to pay the balance for the whole party and is looking to stick to a certain budget, drop us an email at Blandford or Shaftesbury, and we can send you an itemised price list of what we have available.

When you book, please let us know in the notes, the occasion, the name of the main person for the day, and their age if it's their birthday. Tea, coffee, and cakes with vegan and gluten-free options are available on the day, and we also offer an afternoon tea for £14.99 per person, simply ring up the location you've booked for and let them know you'd like the afternoon tea option once your booking has gone through.​
Hen and Stag Dos
A truly memorable experience
Whether you're looking for a unique hen do idea, arranging a creative stag do, or throwing out tradition entirely and having a sten or a hag do, why not give pottery painting a try? You could even create a group piece with messages for the newlyweds-to-be as a memorable keepsake!

We charge a £3 non-refundable deposit upon booking - we'll send you a payment link. The rest is payable on the day, depending on what pottery people choose, and any snacks and drinks purchased.

Tea, coffee, and a selection of cold drinks are available, as well as vegan and gluten-free cake options. If you're booking for an evening, you can bring takeaway food and alcoholic drinks and paint until your heart's content.

Afternoon tea - if you'd like to add this option, it is £14.99 per person and can be added by giving the location you've booked a call after booking online.

Private Hire
The place to yourselves
For more intimate get-togethers or packed-out parties, our private hire option includes a dedicated staff member and two hours of Sophie's Ceramics all to yourself.
​
Private Hire is £10 per person which we take as a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking, plus the cost of the pottery pieces you choose and any food and drink.
​
Private hire parties are for a minimum of 6 people. We do offer an afternoon tea option for £14.99 per person, and if you'd like to add this simply let us know upon booking.
Afternoon Tea
£14.99 per person
Our scrummy afternoon teas can be added to any adult booking, and they include a cake; a scone, jam and cream; a selection of macaroons; a drink of your choice and a selection of sandwiches per person. If you have booked online, simply give us a call to add afternoon tea to your booking.
