Frequently asked questions

Hopefully all questions you my have can be answered below however please do get in contact with the team if you have any further questions.

How does collection work?

Once you have painted your piece of pottery a member of the team will take collection details from you. This includes your name and contact number. You will be given a collection card with a raffle ticket number.

A member of the team will contact you within 10 days (14 days in busy periods like the summer holidays) to let you know your pieces are ready.

Your designated number will be on your collection bag. Don't worry if you lose your number, we will have it on our handy system!

If you are visiting us and would like your pieces delivered this isn't a problem at all, a delivery charge of £3.95 per item is added on to your final bill.

If you have booked one of our bespoke workshops and we have traveled to you, collection/delivery will be agreed individually however if we have come to you we usually deliver it back to you within 14 days (contact us if you need them sooner than this, the quickest turn around we can do for personal delivery is 3 days).

What is the £3 studio fee for?

Our studio fee covers the paints, glaze and firing of your chosen piece, it also covers your time at the table. This is a one off payment and will be added to your final bill. It is £3 per painting person, if you are not painting a piece of pottery you will not be charged this.

You are more than welcome to paint more than one piece in your session with us and you only have to pay one studio fee.

If you do not finish your piece in your session you are more than welcome to take your piece away and then come back and finish another day, all you need to do is pay another studio fee when you return.

When you are booking for more than 6 people or you have reserved a specific pottery piece, we will take the studio fee in advance as a deposit.

What are your opening hours?

How long is a session?

You have 2 hours for your painting session.

If we are quieter you are more than welcome to stay as long as you like! In busy periods (school holidays and weekends) occasionally we have to stick to our two-hour time slots. You are more than welcome to take your piece home, and come back and finish it another day.

If you think you will need longer than the allocated time please give us a call beforehand and if we can accommodate you we will.

do you attend external events?

Yes, we offer pottery painting on the road and a lot more besides. Paw prints, baby hand and footprints, birthday parties and celebrations, corporate team building, community group workshops, fates fairs and festivals as well as evening sessions and other in-house events. If you have an idea, we'll do our best to help out. After all, we're all about bringing the joy of pottery painting to the masses!
